Due to the demolition of Cinema Verdi which was the festival's base for fourteen of its eighteen years (it is to be replaced by a new all-purpose theater), the 1999 festival was hosted by the commune of Sacile (about 12 km west of Pordenone). Nach vierzehn Jahren im Cinema Verdi (Pordenone) musste 1999 nach Sacile (ca. 12 km westlich von Pordenone) ausgewichen werden.
