The 28. Silent Movie Festival Pordenone take part from 3rd to 10th October 2009.

The opening film/musical event was Erich von Stroheim’s The Merry Widow (US, 1925), with score by Maud Nelissen performed by the Orchestra Sinfonica del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
